Our experience since 2017 as part of the Paris Bâtonnier's team of delegates, alongside Vice-Bâtonnier Vincent Nioré, in protecting attorney-client privilege during searches of law firms, has given us expertise in this area.
We ensure that the rights of the lawyer's client and those of the company are respected, in particular with regard to attorney-client privilege and the confidentiality of in-house counsel's opinions (subject to the adoption of the law at the end of 2023).
Proper protection of attorney-client privilege and the (future) confidentiality of in-house counsel's opinions requires knowledge of the legal regimes governing such privilege and confidentiality, their scope and their limits.
We train in-house counsel and lawyers to be familiar with these legal regimes and to acquire best practices in the event of requisitions, searches or operations of visits and seizures by the public investigating and prosecuting authorities.
